Superstar Diljit Dosanjh Adds Another Feather To His Turban With Record Grossing Top Punjabi Film Ever!

Superstar Diljit Dosanjh starring Jatt and Juliet 3 has become the highest grossing Punjabi film worldwide, dethroning the Gippy Grewal starring Carry On Jatta 3 with Dosanjh taking the bragging rights to be the biggest and highest grossing Punjabi music-film star with Canada contributing nearly CAD $4 million to the worldwide box office total. Jatt and Juliet 3 has claimed the worldwide biggest grossing box office title thanks largely to the phenomenal success and the amazing year that golden boy Dosanjh has had with films (including Chamkila) and record setting concert tour.

VANCOUVER – Superstar Diljit Dosanjh starring Jatt and Juliet 3 has become the highest grossing Punjabi film worldwide, dethroning the Gippy Grewal starring Carry On Jatta 3 with Dosanjh taking the bragging rights to be the biggest and highest grossing Punjabi music-film star with Canada contributing nearly CAD $4 million to the worldwide box office total.

Jatt and Juliet 3 has claimed the worldwide biggest grossing box office title thanks largely to the phenomenal success and the amazing year that golden boy Dosanjh has had with films (including Chamkila) and record setting concert tour.

The film is also a milestone for Punjabi cinema as the film passed the mark set by Carry On Jatta 3 but still remains in cinemas which means it will add a little more to give it more breathing space as the top grossing Punjabi film of all time. 

The film hit the 100 crore mark worldwide in its fifth weekend and it currently stands at just above the 101 crore mark worldwide set by Carry On Jatta 3 and it has huge overseas numbers approaching the $7 million USD mark.

But in India the film remains well short of the numbers of Carry On Jatta 3 which had grossed almost 45 crore nett. Jatt and Juliet 3 at the moment stands at around 36 crore nett with maybe a crore or so more to come. 

But Carry On Jatta 3 grossed much less than Jatt and Juliet 3 overseas with a $5.8 million final total.

The overseas numbers of Jatt and Juliet 3 have made the difference as the film heads for huge CAD $4 million total in Canada. It is coming towards the end of its run in Canada so there is not much left to come but it will be finish very close to CAD $4 million.
