A number of students and their teacher from the Lifeteams program in Abbotsford visited India Cultural Centre of Canada Gurdwara Nanak Niwas, 8600 # 5 Road, Richmond  on Monday, January 15. On behalf of the Gurdwara Management Committee it was an honour for me to welcome them and talk about Sikhism and the South Asian community in Canada. The students were very respectful, listened intently and asked very pertinent questions. Later on, they enjoyed tasting various sweets, ground nuts (moongphali), rarian and hot tea in the Langar Hall downstairs. Before leaving, they expressed sincere thanks to the Gurdwara management for a very warm welcome.
