Police have arrested another criminal Indian student involved in extortion related shootings after his recent victims chased him down and called police. The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) arrested 22-year-old Gursewak Singh, who was formally charged in relation to a shooting at an Abbotsford business.

ABBOTSFORD – Police have arrested another criminal Indian student involved in extortion related shootings after his recent victims chased him down and called police.

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) arrested 22-year-old Gursewak Singh, who was formally charged in relation to a shooting at an Abbotsford business.

Singh was involved in shooting up an Indo-Canadian business last week.

But he apparently targeted people who weren’t afraid of him and chased him as he made his getaway towards Chilliwack and called police who tracked down Singh’s car and arrested him.

Shortly before 11 p.m. last Wednesday, police were called to a truck and trailer repair business on King Road near Clearbrook Road after reports of shots fired.

The suspect vehicle was located shortly afterwards, and Singh was arrested.

APS Trucking has been targeted twice in a little over a month by extortion-related shootings. The owner fears for his safety and desperately wants answers.

Police have released Singh’s photo, saying it is “necessary in the public interest to assist with the investigation.”

“This image will help provide accurate information and may prompt additional witnesses, victims, or associates to come forward with relevant information surrounding Singh’s activities,” they said.

No injuries were reported.

This was the second time the business has been targeted by gunfire in recent weeks. AbbyPD has not released any information as to whether or not the two incidents are connected, but they are both believed to be extortion-related, reported Abby News.

The owner of the business, who wishes to remain anonymous, says he has been living in a state of distress since Nov. 12, the date of the first shooting.
