But before those great rocking Ladies take the stage, selected concert goers like yours truly were treated to an exclusive dinner with many kinds of wine and a unique culinary experience. We also got an exclusive tour of the winery thanks to our exclusive connection to Winery insider. We were joined at our table by the legendary politician Moe Sihota and his wife Jessie. KELOWNA – The Mission Hill Winery’s legendary summer concerts are back on and a recent one at their beautiful winery in Kelowna on July 15 features two top acts Jewel and Melissa Etheridge. 

But before those great rocking Ladies take the stage, selected concert goers like yours truly were treated to an exclusive dinner with many kinds of wine and a unique culinary experience. 

We also got an exclusive tour of the winery thanks to our exclusive connection to Winery insider.

We were joined at our table by the legendary politician Moe Sihota and his wife Jessie. When an honour! 

I had a great chat with Moe about politics and life – he looks young as ever even at 70 and doing the things he loves which is golfing with his wife. He said he is currently offering some of his wisdom to Premier David Eby for the upcoming election and the current NDP attack AD against BC Conservatives and BC United is right down Moe’s alley. It’s something Adrian Dix should’ve done more when he lost to Christy Clark.

 Anyway, it’s time for the main event. Mission Hill concerts in Kelowna is part of their summer series in July-August  July 15 attractions are a rare treat of two top Ladies of rock-n-roll – Jewel and Oscar-winning songwriter-singer Melissa Etheridge. 

Mission Hill winery has one of the best venues for outdoor Italian-style concert venues overlooking the majestic Okanagan Lake and both Jewel and Melissa took full inspiration from the beautiful setting to put on a high energy performances with their greatest hits. 

With the cool breeze blowing the heat away, the Crowd was fully attuned to the pair’s performances. Clearly Melissa Etheridge was the star of the show as she put on one of the best performances I’ve seen up here. She had the crowd dancing up a storm and was pitch-perfect. 

And with the wine flowing to make the experience even more potent – it’s definitely one of the highlights of the summer concert series. Music that touches the soul.
