SURREY – The metro Vancouver Khalsa Aid team will be in Surrey to help raise funds and awareness for Surrey Food Bank this week.
The Surrey Food Bank serves over 12,000 clients a month with over 41% of them being under 18 years of age.
Due to rising cost of food, the food bank has seen a markable increase in new clients but a significant decrease in monetary & material donations.
The Metro Vancouver Team of Khalsa Aid Canada will be raising awareness & donations for the Surrey Food Bank over the next 2 weekends.
Sept.4 10am-5pm Dashmesh Darbar Gurdwara in Surrey
