Vancouver Police are searching for an Indo-Canadian man wanted Canada-wide. Harjot Singh Samra was to report to his halfway house in Vancouver once he was released from prison Thursday, but failed to do so. Samra is 5’9”, weighs 252 pounds, and has a heavy build. He has brown/black hair with a balding hairline, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black shorts with white detailing, and was carrying a black duffle bag.

VANCOUVER– Vancouver Police are searching for an Indo-Canadian man wanted Canada-wide.
Harjot Singh Samra, 27, was to report to his halfway house in Vancouver once he was released from prison Thursday, but failed to do so.
Samra is 5’9”, weighs 252 pounds, and has a heavy build. He has brown/black hair with a balding hairline, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black shorts with white detailing, and was carrying a black duffle bag.
VPD officers spotted Samra driving a vehicle near Cambie Street and Marine Drive at around 6 p.m. August 10. They attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but Samra drove away at a high rate of speed. Investigators are now recommending several new charges of dangerous driving against him.
Samra is a federal offender, charged for numerous drug and weapons offences.
Anyone who sees Harjot Samra, or has information on his whereabouts, is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
