The owner of Happy Singh Street Eats, Shraey Gulati, has been in the restaurant business since 2006, just a year after moving to Canada. How did he get the idea? Mr. Gulati says he got the idea for this concept after experimenting with some shakes at the initial launch of Happy Singh Street Eats and the customer response was so overwhelming that he knew his team was onto something. He says, “We, as a team, love combining the flavours and toppings to make new creations. We don’t want to serve boring desserts that nobody orders, we want desserts to be one of the first things on your mind when you enter our restaurant.” You can order these shakes & desserts directly from the website www.happysingh.com for pick up or dine in and watch the dessert get made right before your eyes.
Happy Singh Street Eats is a casual Indian food joint and has plenty of inside seating (150+) to stay cool in the summer plus a 70 seat covered patio. Canada’s first, unique concept with over 230 seats with no servers to take your order, or cashiers, but a completely automated and digitized concept with self serving kiosks and order ready screens to let you know when your order is ready for pick up from one of the many different counters.
