SURREY — Catch your favorite Bollywood songs re-imagined at the Raga Echoes concert taking place at Surrey’s Bell Centre this Saturday, July 19.
Raga Echoes promises a journey to Live Unbound, a cinematic, immersive music experience inspired by the spirit of Coke Studio and MTV Unplugged, where raw, acoustic sound meets rich visual storytelling.

Taking place at the Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey, this intimate concert brings together 8 powerhouse musicians, weaving iconic South Asian melodies through a new lens of vulnerability, soul, and soundscape. From goosebump-inducing ballads to high-energy Bollywood bangers, this isn’t just a concert — it’s an emotional journey through music, memory, and identity.
Unlike traditional cover shows or massive commercial tours, Live Unbound puts artistry first. Each arrangement is crafted collaboratively by local performers, using acoustic instrumentation and cinematic lighting to breathe new life into classics. Expect reinterpretations of songs you love — and stories behind the music that bring them even closer to your heart.
This is the kind of show that gives space to emerging talent, champions cultural storytelling, and makes you feel every note.

THE LINEUP

Gurmukh Singh – A viral sensation whose emotional renditions of Punjabi and Bollywood songs have captured hearts online.
Daksh Kubba – A genre-defying composer blending Indian classical with soul, jazz, and rock.
Hitesh Malhotra – A high-energy performer with a loyal following in the South Asian music circuit.
Backed by a team of 4 incredible local instrumentalists and shaped under the creative direction of Glen D’Mello (former SHIAMAK Group producer), this show marks the beginning of something bigger: a reimagined future for South Asian music in North America.

Founded by musicians and life partners Aakash Mehta and Priya Joy, Raga Echoes was born from a simple dream — to give local artists a world-class stage and create musical experiences that move people to tears, joy, and celebration. With future events planned in Toronto, Seattle, and beyond, Live Unbound is the first chapter in a growing movement to build a “Coke Studio for North America” — rooted in authenticity, live artistry, and community.
