Surrey RCMP is requesting public assistance in locating a missing Indo-Canadian man, who’s belongings were found on the Alex Fraser bridge.
On September 15 at 10:40 pm, Surrey RCMP received a report that Vishal Bajaj had not arrived at his place of employment in Vancouver. Earlier this same day Vishal Bajaj’s backpack was found near the pedestrian walkway on the Alex Fraser Bridge.

SURREY – Surrey RCMP is requesting public assistance in locating a missing Indo-Canadian man, who’s belongings were found on the Alex Fraser bridge.
On September 15 at 10:40 pm, Surrey RCMP received a report that Vishal Bajaj had not arrived at his place of employment in Vancouver. Earlier this same day Vishal Bajaj’s backpack was found near the pedestrian walkway on the Alex Fraser Bridge.
Bajaj was last seen on September 13 at approximately 8:41 pm leaving his residence in the 14200-block of 114 Avenue. Police and family are concerned for Vishal’s health and wellbeing.
Bajaj is a 27-year-old South Asian man. He’s 5’7″, 141 lbs. with short black hair and brown eyes.
“The Surrey RCMP Missing Persons Unit is leading this investigation,” says Cpl. Sarbjit K. Sangha, Media Relations Officer with Surrey RCMP. “Police are asking any friends and associates of Vishal to contact them with information to assist in locating him”, added Cpl. Sangha.
