England’s famous Singing Policeman (ex-now) Kulbinder Rai made another visit to Vancouver after visiting his son and his family in Toronto. I met him again just as he’s about to return back home after visiting his eldest sister and her family in Burnaby. Rai is a man of many talents, who was recently recognized for his creativity and volunteerism to raise money for various charities in England. He was recently presented with the Most OST Positive Role Model Award by Chief Constable Rob Nixon for his Charity Work for being a part of Police, Music and Head Of Crime-Stoppers Events Team. He also received a Special Award From just the-elected MP Tan Dhesi and event Organiser Anita Sandhu for performing In London to raise funds for Apnyaa Teeyaan. Kulbinder overcame many obstacles, growing up as a young boy without a father but managed to become an aeronautics engineer. Not being satisfied with just being an engineer, he became a British police officer to the great pride of his mother and family. He always loved music as a child and began learning vocals and music in the UK and shortly after he became a live singer and recording artist. Happy travels my friend. Until next time- maybe I come to visit you in the UK!
