Surrey RCMP is seeking a hit and run driver after a collision involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, on December 16th in the Whalley area of Surrey. On December 16th at 1651 hours, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle, in the 13300 block of Old Yale Road. The suspect vehicle, a Mint Green Dodge Caravan was west bound on Old Yale road when it struck the pedestrian. The vehicle was last seen fleeing west bound on Old Yale road from the 133rd street intersection.

SURREY – Surrey RCMP is seeking a hit and run driver after a collision involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, on December 16th in the Whalley area of Surrey.

On December 16th at 1651 hours, Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle, in the 13300 block of Old Yale Road. The suspect vehicle, a Mint Green Dodge Caravan was west bound on Old Yale road when it struck the pedestrian. The vehicle was last seen fleeing west bound on Old Yale road from the 133rd street intersection.

An adult female pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital with severe injuries.

Police are currently on scene canvassing for witnesses and video. Anyone with more information, including dash cam footage are the area of Old Yale Road, from 132nd street to King George Boulevard, between 1645 hours and 1715 hours, is asked to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 2022-190767.

Surrey RCMP is also asking motorists to avoid the area of Old Yale Road (100 avenue), in the area of City Centre Mall, for the foreseeable future.
