Dr. Balwant Singh Dhillon, a renowned scholar and historian, was in Surrey on Friday, September 23 as keynote speaker at a function sponsored by the Canadian Sikh Studies Society. Dr. Dhillon has worked with eminent researcher and author of the Nanak Shahi Calendar, Paul Singh Purewal. Unfortunately, Purewal passed away this week. Dr. Dhillon paid a very fitting tribute to Purewal. Dr. Dhillon, along with some of the invited guests released three books-two by him and one posthumously by Purewal. The attendees included leaders of most of the local Gurdwaras and some prominent members of the community and journalists.

3 weeks agoI’m really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A few of my blog visitors have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any tips to help fix this problem?
