VANCOUVER – One man has been charged following a racially motivated tirade against two coffee shop employees last month.
VPD launched an investigation after a 57-year-old suspect entered a coffee shop on West Pender and Abbott on June 11 and directed racially motivated speech against two staff members.
Peter Gagen has now been charged with causing a disturbance. He has been released pending his October 31 court appearance.
