Rising Punjabi film star Jagjeet Sandhu’s new film ILTI (Lovable Troublemaker) is one of the best and original films to come out of the Punjabi film industry and marks a new beginning for Punjabi cinema that has been for too long giving lame, boring and tiresome stories that have been done to death.

Without a doubt – ILTI is a game changer and full credit goes to lead stars Sandhu, who also serves as producer, and Tania and the entire creative team in front and behind the camera.

 It’s an absolutely brilliant film that will entertain you with gut-punching laughs and deliver a beautiful central message about environmental protection which is badly needed in Punjab and the whole of India. 

I want to point out that it’s not only Hollywood level comedy but beautifully made by director Varinder Ramgarhia and his entire technical-creative team with a special shout out to DOP-Cinematographer for the absolute pro-work of beautifully composed images. 

The ILTI team has made a great use of green-screen technology in the telling of the origin of man part of the story that is central to its modern ser story about two unique souls who come together to rock their world. The special effects work central to making the story work is seamless. 

The entire creative team has done a great job of creating a perfectly pitched tone for all the characters of the film – from the lead stars down to the smallest parts in the film, a great feat that not many films can accomplish. 

Other than being just slightly too long – it’s almost a perfectly made film that absolutely embraces its story and tells it in the most audience-loving fashion. 

Hats off to Sandhu and Tania in giving absolutely brilliant performances and I hope audiences will rush to cinemas all over the world and embrace the film’s infectious spirit. 

This is a film that deserves to be watched in cinemas and deserves full audience love. This film also deserves to be a box office hit. 

After theatrical – Netflix should acquire this film with a big price – it’s that good. Thank you ILTI – keep entertaining us.
