Mike Starchuk, the new NDP MLA from Cloverdal,e visited PICS Society head office on July 6th to meet with their staff and learn about the various programs and services offered by PICS. He was particularly interested in discussing the progress of the important community project being built within his riding of Cloverdale – Guru Nanak Diversity Village – a 125 bed long-term care facility that will provide culturally sensitive care to our seniors. Most importantly Starchuk gave a very generous personal donation of $1,300 towards the Guru Nanak Diversity Village Project. He has promised full support for the community project and is willing to become a “Brand Ambassador ” to help fundraise $5 million for the project.
