Golden BC resident Harjinder Mall recently visited Vancouver and met the newly elected MLA Sunita Dhir (Vancouver Langara). Mall was joined by lower mainland residents and the Federal NDP candidate Manoj Bhangu (Vancouver Fraserview – South Burnaby). At the meeting, issues related to international credentials and tenant-landlord rights and responsibilities were the primary focus of the discussion. Mall stated that while many landlords do exploit tenants, property owners of smaller properties with a one or two suites are usually the primary victims of unpaid rents and property damages.

VANCOUVER – Golden BC resident Harjinder Mall recently visited Vancouver and met the newly elected MLA Sunita Dhir (Vancouver Langara). Mall was joined by lower mainland residents and the Federal NDP candidate Manoj Bhangu (Vancouver Fraserview – South Burnaby).
At the meeting, issues related to international credentials and tenant-landlord rights and responsibilities were the primary focus of the discussion. Mall urged the government to improve the legal framework so justice to both tenants and landlords can be delivered in a timely manner.
Dhir is now appointed as Parliamentary Secretary and assigned to work on the International Credentials file.
Mall and others also congratulated Dhir on reclaiming the riding after a long time and being appointed to lead the important work in international credentials.
