Alleged Indian-Student Type Criminals Post Video Of Them Shooting Up Kap’s Café!

India’s top comedian and talk-show host Kapil Sharma, of The Great Indian Kapil Show, Comedy Nights With Kapil, and The Kapil Sharma Show fame, recently opened his first Canadian venture with much hype and fanfare called the Kap’s Café in Surrey. But early Thursday morning and just days after opening, the celebrity Café was shot up multiple times by what appears to be alleged Indian criminal student gangster types, the ones who have been busy making extortion threats against Indo-Canadian business people recently with a spate of shootings all over Surrey. So far, there is no information whether extortion threat was made to those running the Kap’s Café and from the video footage of the shooting shared by the idiotic shooters themselves – it looks like amateur gun play with the Café being a target due to the celebrity connection and recent hype about it’s soft opening.

But early Thursday morning and just days after opening, the celebrity Café was shot up multiple times by what appears to be alleged Indian criminal student gangster types, the ones who have been busy making extortion threats against Indo-Canadian business people recently with a spate of shootings all over Surrey.

So far, there is no information whether extortion threat was made to those running the Kap’s Café and from the video footage of the shooting shared by the idiotic shooters themselves – it looks like amateur gun play with the Café being a target due to the celebrity connection and recent hype about it’s soft opening.

Superstar Sharma and his wife Ginni Chatrath were expected to do an official Grand-opening of their Café this summer but the shooting may have put a damp on those expected festivities.

Surrey Police Service (SPS) said Thursday in a press release that their officers are investigating the shots fired incident at the Newton neighbourhood business.

On Thursday, July 10, at 1:50 am, Surrey Police Service was called to a business located in the 8400 block of 120 Street for a report of shots fired. Upon police arrival it was quickly determined that the shots were fired towards the business, damaging the property, while staff members were still present inside. There were no injuries to anyone at the business. SPS officers gathered evidence and canvassed the area for witnesses and surveillance video.

Surrey Police Service Frontline Investigative Support (FLIS) Team has assumed conduct of the investigation. This investigation is continuing and connections to other incidents and potential motives are being examined. There is currently no suspect information available to share.

Since Kap’s Cafe was launched recently, the local Punjabi community and Sharma’s fans have been eager to take a look at the decor and it’s delicacies with line-ups to get in. The beautifully designed interiors of Kap’s Cafe are described as aesthetically pleasing and radiate the vibes of pure elegance. The walls are painted in a soft pastel pink and white colour, with antique-style chandeliers hanging overhead.
