CALGARY – Karma Singh is a South Asian girl gone bad and is wanted for a road rage shooting in Calgary.

Calgary Police Service (CPS) is looking for the 20-year-old woman believed to be involved in a road-rage shooting incident last November.

Officers say on Nov. 11, 2022, around 5:30 p.m. they believe Singh was in a 2010 Chevrolet Impala when the car allegedly pulled in front of the victim’s car and forcefully pushed the brakes, as the victim was driving eastbound on McKnight Boulevard NE, and approaching the merge lanes for southbound Deerfoot Trail.

Police say one of the suspects inside the Impala then allegedly fired seven shots at the victim’s car when they tried to pass them on the left-hand side.

However, they say, the victim did not get hurt and was able to call 911 and exit onto Deerfoot Trail.

The driver of the Impala, 24-year-old Jamal Baroudi, was charged with one count of discharge of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and one count of assault with a weapon in November 2022.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 28.

Officers add they are still unable to find the woman involved in the shooting — 20-year-old Karma Singh.

She is described as 5’1″ tall, 105 pounds, with medium-length brown hair and brown eyes.

Police believe Singh may be armed and dangerous and are advising the public to take caution if they see her. CPS noted she might have restricted firearms.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
