EDITOR’S NOTE: The most strangest rumour on the net today! Superstars Diljit Dosanjh and Taylor Swift’s pow-vow in gorgeous Vancouver – say it isn’t so! I think the Indian students at the anti-deportation sit in have too much time on their hands. But the fake get together at my Favorite Cactus Club in downtown Vancouver was given legs by Diljit himself by saying – “hey guys there is a thing called privacy”.  A tweet he deleted soon after! But this is as joyous as our weather lately. And I heard Taylor has already written a song about her sweet Turbaned boy toy. Here’s how it goes:

VANCOUVER – Somebody from Vancouver started a crazy rumour that Punjabi film and music superstar Diljit Dosanjh was having dinner with American music megastar Taylor Swift at the Cactus Club in downtown Vancouver.

The rumour got legs when Dosanjh, in a now-deleted tweet, said “why won’t people respect our privacy”. It’s not known whether his tweet was meant to be amusing or just playful but he quickly deleted it.

The fake report claimed that Dosanjh was pictured with Taylor Swift at a restaurant in Vancouver, where the singers were laughing and being touchy. 

An excerpt from the report read, “Vancouver Patrons were in for a surprise when they saw two of their favorite stars dining together at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbor on Monday night. Multiple sources confirmed that Taylor Swift and Diljit Dosanjh were laughing and being “touch touch” (sic).” 

Dosanjh tweeted, “Yaar privacy naam di v koi cheez hundi aa ( Guys, there is a thing called privacy).” A few hours later, the singer deleted the tweet.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy, who began dating in May this year, have reportedly broken up.

On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh  will next be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew, co-starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. He will also star in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, co-starring Parineeti Chopra. The singer-actor performed twice at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2023 in California this year.

Diljit Dosanjh became a household name after he sang songs like Proper Patola, Do You Know and Patiala Peg among others. He has also featured in several Punjabi films. His other big hits include Lover and Vibe. Diljit has also starred in Bollywood films like Phillauri, Soorma, Welcome To New York, Arjun Patiala, Sooraj Pe Mangal Bhaari, Good Newwz among others.
