SURREY – The current extreme weather combined with recent BC floods and mudslides are the most devastating and most costly natural disaster Canada has ever experienced. Uniting to provide aid to those impacted is crucial at this time.

Kirpa Collective, Tera Terra Helping Hands, Ik Sansar Foundation, and Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh  Darbar are proud to come together to provide and distribute food and essentials throughout British Columbia.

Together we have been able to coordinate highway transport, boats, helicopters and planes to deliver supplies to both local and isolated stranded communities in desperate need. To date we’ve been able to provide 200,000 lbs of supplies distributed to affected areas throughout Southern BC including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Merritt, Kamloops, Lytton, Boston Bar, Nooaitch Band, Siska Stein Valley Nlaka’pamux, Nicomen Band, Coldwater Band, Chawathil First Nation, Princeton, Spences Bridge and more.

Since starting on November 16, we’ve been able to:

● Provide meals for evacuees, front line response teams, and the volunteers working tirelessly day and night

● Fund emergency supplies immediately needed by evacuees, food banks, shelters, and sandbagging sites

● Organize donated supplies to be transported all over Southern BC by road and air based on requests from people impacted by the floods

● Mobilize volunteers for efforts like sandbagging, clean-up efforts, and transportation

People impacted by the floods will not be returning home anytime soon. The work is just beginning. Communities overcome by the floods and mudslides need us to rally behind them to get through this devastating time. We are grateful for the community coming together to donate money, supplies, and time for the greater good and hope you all continue to support us with the ongoing work.

Kirpa Collective

Kirpa Collective is a humanitarian organization devoted to providing immediate disaster relief. It was founded by Abbotsford’s Parmbir Singh Lally as a result of the 2021 British Columbia floods and State of Emergency.Kirpa Collective is the collaboration of Fraser Valley locals initially brought together to support flood relief in Abbotsford. Within days we were able to grow a group of 100+ volunteers to aid struggling communities all over Southern BC. Kirpa Collective is composed of everyday people volunteering to make a difference. We are not a corporate organization with large overhead costs. All the funds and supplies raised are going straight to the people in need
