Surrey Liberal MPs Beat PP’s BC Boss Kerry-Lynne-Findlay’s Trio Of “Loser” Candidates!
DESIBUZZCanada long predicted and we wrote numerous stories that the election was much closer than the polls said it was going to be. And it has turned into exactly that with Liberals’ Knight-in-shining-Armour Mark Carney only able to win another minority government just like his predecessor Justin Trudeau did in the last election. But credit to Carney that under his leadership, the Liberal party actually did gain a significant share of the vote nationally from last time but didn’t pick up the seats needed for a majority. But given the total disaster that awaited Trudeau Liberals – you have to give Carney full credit for saving the party and returning it to power even if it’s a minority government, which could become minority if three MPs from Conservatives or Bloc Quebecois or combined cross the floor to join Carney.

SURREY – DESIBUZZCanada long predicted and we wrote numerous stories that the election was much closer than the polls said it was going to be.

The wave that the polls predicted for a majority Liberal Government never materialized and obviously they were over optimistic at best and wrong at worst.
However, riding polls by some of the pollsters in Surrey did come true with all three Liberal seats in Surrey by incumbents Sukh Dhaliwal, Randeep Sarai and newcomer Gurbax Saini, taking over from Ken Hardy, coming through and winning over their lack-luster and controversial Conservative opponents Harjit Gill, Rajvir Dhillon and Sukh Pandher, all hand-picked by Conservative BC boss Kerry-Lynne Findlay who also rightfully lost her own seat for choosing a virtual pack of loser candidates.

Findley and all those choosing these candidates for Conservatives should be fired as at least one or two of these three seats, aside from Sukh Dhaliwal, were winnable seats with the right candidates.
So lot of soul searching for Conservatives whose own leader Pierre Poilievre lost his own seat in disgrace. That should cement his own exit from the party and leader’s chair as he lost a gimme-election that he should have won.

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh also resigned as leader after losing his seat in a graceful exit that was heartfelt and painful for his legion of supporters.

Jagmeet had a great run. He was sexually abused as a child, became a lawyer and then leader of a national political party and he deserves all the accolades for his unending passion for the party and the common man that the NDP stands for. He goes out with grace and style after an amazing political run. He is a great leader and an even better human being. You have to bow to this man as he’s gone through a lot and came out as a winner. Hats off to a true Singh is King!
