After the success of spirit of Bollywood and spirit of India, Shiamak Vancouver’s Bollywood Divas will pay a dance tribute to the women of Indian Cinema. Known for creating stunning visuals with breathtaking choreography, costumes, props and lighting design, Vancouver’s leading entertainment design and choreography company – Shiamak Vancouver, led by Creative Director, Glen D’Mello and Lead Choreographer Rohan D’Silva, will put on a spectacular show dedicated to Madhubala to Madhuri Dixit, Parveen Babi to Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor to Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai to Zeenat Aman.

VANCOUVER – After the success of spirit of Bollywood and spirit of India, Shiamak Vancouver’s Bollywood Divas will pay a dance tribute to the women of Indian Cinema.
Known for creating stunning visuals with breathtaking choreography, costumes, props and lighting design, Vancouver’s leading entertainment design and choreography company – Shiamak Vancouver, led by Creative Director, Glen D’Mello and Lead Choreographer Rohan D’Silva, will put on a spectacular show dedicated to Madhubala to Madhuri Dixit, Parveen Babi to Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor to Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai to Zeenat Aman.
“Bollywood DIVAS is a homage to the amazing women who have inspired millions over the years. I have had the honour of working with some of these incredible artists over the last three decades and this show is our way of celebrating their contribution to the entertainment industry.”- says, Shiamak Davar, Artistic Director of The Shiamak Group.
The show will be performed by the Shiamak Vancouver Dance Team which is comprised of talented dancers from across the Lower Mainland. Leading the performances will some of the most talented principal dancers from the original Shiamak Dance Company who have performed with and trained Bollywood’s greatest leading ladies stars who they will be paying tribute to in ‘Bollywood DIVAS’.
Also leading the performances will Vancouver’s own Divas– Kanika Sasan, Julie Vu and others.
The show will take place Saturday, June 24 at 7.00pm at the Grovesnor Theatre at Kay Meek Art Centre, West Vancouver.
