Vancouver Police Detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section have arrested Aneil Sanghera following an investigation into the death of a man at a wedding celebration in mid-April. On April 15th, police and the BC Ambulance Service were called around 11:30 p.m. to the Fraserview Hall in South Vancouver after 41-year-old Richmond resident Pardeep “Terry” Dulay was found deceased by party guests. It originally appeared that the Dulay had died of natural causes, but information collected at the scene showed the victim had been involved in a physical altercation just before his death.

VANCOUVER – An Indo-Canadian man from Richmond has been charged with manslaughter in a suspicious death in Vancouver.

Vancouver Police Detectives from the VPD’s Major Crime Section have arrested Aneil Sanghera following an investigation into the death of a man at a wedding celebration in mid-April.

It originally appeared that the Dulay had died of natural causes, but information collected at the scene showed the victim had been involved in a physical altercation just before his death.

Twenty-eight-year-old Sanghera from Richmond was arrested Tuesday and has been charged with manslaughter.

This is Vancouver’s tenth homicide of 2017. This matter is currently before the courts.
