Other minor expenses for the Trump camp from October 1st to 19th include— $19.3 million on media, $14.2 million on online advertising and $3.5 million on air travel. In spite of all the spending, Trump’s campaign has lagged behind the money spent by Hillary and the Democrats.

Riding on a wave of popular resentment against Hillary Clinton, Trump proved all predictions wrong to emerge victorious. It has been a major blow for the Democrats, who are still trying to recover from the shocking defeat.

The amount of money spent by both the parties will leave Americans in a quandary and make people think about the need to spend such huge amount for the White House.

Despite having less money to work with in the final few weeks of the campaign, Trump emerged victorious and proved all the critics wrong.
